The two extremes

Postby mauzi » Sat Jul 21, 2007 9:21 am

It has been an intersting year here on the New England. We have had two extremes - wamer than usual summer and much colder winter. Is this how climate change will effect? Many believe so. I often here the term global warming but I think this could be a bit misleading as it infers only heating up of the planet. What do people think?

I've been wondering if it has anything to do with all the oil and minerals we're taking from under ground. They say the centre of the earth is boiling. Oil is a heat conductor and water repellant. Could this have something to do with the extremes of drought and temperature. I'm no scientist but it wouldn't be the first time man's arrogance led to the destruction of something or someone out of ignorance would it?
