A really interesting way of building that is quick and efficient.

I am interested in this modality of building at the moment. Mostly for animals shelters as it is warm for winter and cool for summer, quick to put up, we have the materials required on the property and I can do it myself - bonus as DH has so many other projects to do and I am hopeless with a hammer and nails :( but this I could do. I have done some cob projects before and loved that as well. I love curves and unusual design so it is right up my alley. Will have to find the link to various sites for people to have a look at it if you havn't seen this type of building before. See what I can find.

Thanks Mauzi for this post, the building style from what I know of it could not only be used for animal shelters but for Human shelters and even permanent dwellings. What about using it for a power shed to house the Diesel engine and batteries? The sky is the limit here as to what we can do with them...... It would be great for emergency shelters. :)

I did a tiny bit of research and they look great. Definitely worth concidering. Looking forward to the links you put up....
